The Conservancy and Community Trust of South Gulf Cove Inc. (CCT)
will be conducting their annual public meeting on Saturday, January
30th at the newly opened South Gulf Cove Park, next to the boat ramp
(10150 Amicola Street). The meeting will be conducted at the park
pavilion at 2:00 pm. It will provide you an opportunity to visit
the new park and join us for an informative meeting. The meeting
should last a little over an hour and light refreshments will be
provided.
The
Conservancy and Community Trust was established in 2003 to support
the South Gulf Cove community by providing beautification,
conservation, recreation, and other projects in accordance with the
SGC Community Plan. The CCT works closely with the SGC Advisory
Committee, and the Streets & Drainage MSBU, to provide direction and
facilitate funding for current and proposed community improvement
projects. Updates will be provided at the meeting on activities
conducted by Learning Garden and Cove Connector volunteers.
Put
it on your calendar. Plan to join us at the park to hear what’s
happening and what’s planned for South Gulf Cove.
