7^th Annual Golf Tournament Contact for more information: Clarence Brosmer 941-698-1074	GOLF BENEFIT FOR THE LEARNING GARDEN Calling All Golfers Mark your calendars – October 9 for The Learning Garden’s 7^th Annual Golf Tournament at Rotonda Long Marsh Golf Course. 4-Person Scramble check-in begins at 10:00am Putting & Chipping contests at 11:00am Shotgun Start 12:00 noon. Set your own team or have committee assist you. Entry fee is $65 ($30 tax deductible) and includes 18 holes of golf with cart, buffet dinner, beverages and prizes. Buffet, prizes, etc. will be held at the pavilion on Ingraham Blvd in South Gulf Cove. following the tournament. For non-golfers who wish to partake of the food and festivities, the cost is $12. Call Ann Yee, 941-697-2556 or Marge Miller, 941-697-8878 if you plan to attend. Public is welcome. Deadline for entry is September 30, 2010. ENTRY FORM Golfers are eligible to enter Rotonda Golf & Country Club’s $1000 Sweepstakes for October Volunteers needed to help with the buffet dinner. Ann Yee is looking for help setting up, cooking, serving, bartending, clean up, etc. Please call Ann at 941-697-2556 if you would like to volunteer.
	Please join us twice a month for fun and friendship as we 'grow' The Learning Garden. No experience required nor do you need to attend any meetings. Just be at The Learning Garden site on those Wednesdays (See the Work Schedule) convenient for you. It will almost always be helpful if you bring your trusty shovel and rake. Please also remember to bring a beverage for yourself.
	Please join us once a month for the Master Gardener Plant Clinic. The clinic is held at The Learning Garden in the Educational Pavilion. They are held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
